 Cyberlink YouCam came with my HP Notebook. It does not work with AIM and I am very disappointed. Everything I have read says that it does, but it just does not. I believe it is a partial version and I am being asked to pay for a full version, but have no way to know if that will work with AIM messenger if I do that.

 youCam ripoff I bought a $3000 HP Touchsmart computer with an old V1.0 on it one week ago, My friend bought a laptop with the same software from HP. he has ver2.0 I am told i have to pay $20 to upgrade. why would a cheaper older computer come with v2.0 loaded, and my newer one require a $20 fee? thats the reason im not using youcam, feel kinda crappy about that..
 Pretty Impressive It's a lot of fun, I must have spent about 5 hours making up videos to send my friends. Only suggestion I have is that having an option like "export as 3gp" or "record as MMS" might be helpful.

Great Piece of Software! This is great, I have been testing it and it works wonderfully - we have two cats who make great test subjects. However, having the cats, I found it best NOT to monitor for sound. They set the thing off constantly. We live in an apartment and will be monitoring for any unauthorized entry into our unit. We will adjust the camera to human-level so that the cats running around do not constantly set off the motion detection.Only complaint: we downloaded the trial version, and on realizing we wanted the full version, purchased it THROUGH the trial version.  I was duped The website I found this program on advertised it as freeware...I installed it and it is most certainly not freeware.
Great software This is one of the easiest programs to get running. Setting up a streaming video from a webcam was a snap.

 It`s not what I wanted It did not record the video from my webcam
Problem. The memory consumption of this software is very high and my system becomes very slow and sometimes hangs up. I request you to see the memory consumption and try to use very less. So that we can use the system for other purpose also.

Wouldn`t work for me I did the trial of the software and it worked fine. I then purchased the software and cut and pasted the number into the registration so I could use it. It never accepted the number they gave me when I purchased it so I wasted the purchase price. I thought the trial was great and easy and was real happy with it. I just wished the performance would have worked after I purchased the softwared.
 Can`t get a direct connection to the video. I do not need to capture my whole screen. Just the video on the cam.
it did not work at all.... it did not work at all...it created a 0MB movie file in the destination folder..i hv not idea wht was going wrong and i uninstalled it..i did not buy it, just downloaded and tried to use as a trial to see whether it works..and it dint work..if u hv a good working version for trial send me the link

oRipa OK Does not record incoming audio from person you are having webcam chat with. Records my audio and their video. Not much use for that. I will not purchase the product, so I have to rate the value as POOR.
